More corners than blocks

Hello Hatters,
I’m a change agent, a reformer in the Enneagram Test (a number 1, but don’t worry, I’m not letting that cheer go to my head). When there is something to challenge or change, the frame of mind in which to tackle it will improve the outcome. Consider the tactic, "More Corners than Blocks."
It is a play on words because when you walk a block, there are usually four corners. It is not a dead end and you don't have to stay on that block. If there's trouble along the way of your challenge, consider it a corner, and not a block (or road block.) The inevitable reality is that problems follow the desire to make change. The quest to improve something or some intangible is a natural magnet to risk and trouble.
What makes a difference for me is to recognize the delays or problems are just a corner in a block. I don't have to stay there and I don't have to even stay on that block. There are lots of ways to achieve goals. Another important key to remember is to expect issues to rise up. It's just life. As you are prepared for problems, even if you don't know what they will be, your mental state is just bound to be better.
Just remember when trouble threatens your progress, take a corner rather than quit at the block. Or change the block where you're walking. It is easy to see examples of this tool because I live in a city with lots of construction. There's always a detour. Take it and don't let anything stand in the way of your goal. Be persistent in your actions and your mindset.
More Corners than Blocks. Get going!
Hugzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz,
MT
